Hessian 是一個序列化協議, 他的優勢在於比 Java 原生的對象序列化/反序列化速度更快, 序列化出來之後的數據更小.html
序列化協議跟應用層協議無關, 能夠將 Hessian 序列化之後的數據放在 HTTP Body 裏, 也能夠放在 DUBBO 裏, 或者直接用 Socket 傳輸java
下面是一個使用 Hessian 實現的 Hessian web service 的例子web

能夠看到相對於直接傳輸字符串數據, hessian 序列化之後多了一些控制字符.
若是僅僅是傳輸字符串, 實際上沒有必要使用 hessian, 由於這樣反而多了序列化反序列的過程, 數據也多了控制字符, 變得更大
而對於複雜的 java 對象, 用 hessian 則更合適。
