Trade Reporting And Compliance Engine (TRACE) is a program by which members of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) (formerly the National Association of Security Dealers-NASD) report trades in fixed income securities. The collection of this information is required by the Securities and Exchange Commission Rule 6200 Series. php
TRACE provides the public access to market data in corporate bonds and Structured Products. These products are traded over-the-counter and as such prices are not publicly available on any exchange. TRACE market data includes the weighted average prices and trade volume. The trade volume is broken out by dealers and customers flows. The public can view and download this data at FICC Market Data >> Trace. The data history goes back to 2009. TRACE was initially implemented in July 2002**. ide
