  • GossipProtocolImpl實現了GossipProtocol接口,它維護了名爲gossips的gossipId與GossipState的map,以及remoteMembers列表

  • doSpreadGossip方法首先遞增currentPeriod,而後執行selectGossipMembers,遍歷該member執行spreadGossipsTo,最後執行sweepGossips
  • selectGossipMembers方法會根據gossipFanout配置隨機選擇gossipFanout個member,這裏維護了remoteMembersIndex,具體是對remoteMembers進行subList,當remoteMembersIndex小於0或remoteMembersIndex + gossipFanout > remoteMembers.size()時會Collections.shuffle(remoteMembers)並重置remoteMembersIndex爲0,以後對remoteMembersIndex加上gossipFanout
  • spreadGossipsTo方法首先執行selectGossipsToSend獲取要發送的gossips,而後經過buildGossipRequestMessage構造GOSSIP_REQ消息,最後經過transport.send方法發送
  • sweepGossips方法則選取periodsToSweep,而後從gossips移除period > gossipState.infectionPeriod() + periodsToSweep的gossipState

這裏GossipProtocolImpl註冊了onMemberEvent及onGossipReq,其中onMemberEvent用於監聽MembershipEvent,並根據該event來維護remoteMembers列表;onGossipReq則是監聽其餘member的doSpreadGossip方法發送過來的GossipReq消息,合併該消息的gossips到本地的gossips;而doSpreadGossip方法則是每隔gossipInterval執行,根據gossipFanout配置隨機選擇gossipFanout個member,而後針對每一個member選擇要發送的gossips進行spread( onGossipReq及spread方法會更改gossips,而每隔gossipInterval觸發的doSpreadGossip則從gossips選擇待spread的消息進行發送)
