Cisco 7609 ROMMON升級過程指南

一、升級前的驗證與備份命令

show redundancy
show rom-monitor slot 5 sp
show rom-monitor slot 5 rp
show rom-monitor slot 6 sp
show rom-monitor slot 6 rp
show tac

二、第一步開始備引擎的Rommon升級
備註：備引擎在第6插槽，先升級備引擎的SP鏡像，再升級備引擎的RP鏡像。
SP升級命令
upgrade rom-monitor slot 6 sp file tftp://10.126.76.239/rsp720_sp-rm2.srec.122-33r.SRD5
驗證命令
show rom-monitor slot 6 SP

RP升級命令
upgrade rom-monitor slot 6 rp file tftp://10.126.76.239/rsp720_rp-rm2.srec.122-33r.SRD5
驗證命令
show rom-monitor slot 6 rp

三、從新加載第6插槽的備引擎
備註：在徹底升級完Rommon後從新加載，而不是切換。
從新加載命令
hw-module module 6 reset
冗餘引擎驗證命令
show redundancy
show rom-monitor slot 6 sp
show rom-monitor slot 6 rp

四、第二步開始主引擎的Rommon升級
備註：升級前驗證第5插槽的主引擎
show redundancy
show rom-monitor slot 5 sp
show rom-monitor slot 5 rp

五、升級第5插槽的主引擎
備註：首先咱們須要切換第5插槽的主引擎，等備引擎變爲主引擎，再升級第5插槽的原主引擎如今爲備引擎。
冗餘引擎切換命令：
redundancy force-switchover

六、升級第5插槽的Rommon.
SP升級命令
upgrade rom-monitor slot 5 sp file tftp://10.126.76.239/rsp720_sp-rm2.srec.122-33r.SRD5
驗證命令
show rom-monitor slot 5 sp
RP升級命令
upgrade rom-monitor slot 5 rp file tftp://10.126.76.239/rsp720_rp-rm2.srec.122-33r.SRD5
驗證命令
show rom-monitor slot 5 rp

七、從新加載在第5槽的備引擎
備註：在徹底升級完Rommon後從新加載，而不是切換。
從新加載命令
hw-module module 5 reset

八、在第5槽的備引擎起來後驗證Rommon升級是否成功？
驗證命令
show rom-monitor slot 5 sp
show rom-monitor slot 5 rp
show rom-monitor slot 6 sp
show rom-monitor slot 6 rp

Note: Once standby supervisor come up we will switchover module 6 active to standby in order to keep active module 5 and standby module 6 but this is not necessary just for consistency.

九、回滾步驟a) Connect to the supervisor using console connection.b) Check if we have some response from console.c) If yes most likely supervisor is in ROMMON mode .d) We should try to boot IOS from ROMMON (using 「boot [path to IOS]」 command).e) If there will be no response from console try to reboot it one more time by powering it off and on.f) If after power cycle there will be no response from console it would mean that supervisor has failed and has to be replaced.
