Postgres-XL 10R1 release版本發佈

2018年10月25日2ndQuadrant發佈了Postgres-XL 10R1版本。Postgres-XL是一個大規模並行數據庫，它基於PG社區版本開發，並和PG高度兼容，支持Business Intelligence負載和讀寫大事務負載。

PG-XL徹底開源。隨着咱們開始向PG核心版本徹底並行發展時，PG新版本的一些新特性也加入到了PG-XL中。該release版本主要特性包括Postgresql中的主要特性，例如並行查詢（PG9.6）和聲明性分區（PG10）。另外，PG-XL10R1也隨着最近幾年PG的新版本發佈在性能上有了重大提高。主要包括如下方面。

PG10

聲明表分區（Declarative table partitioning）

    查詢並行性方面改進（Improved query parallelism）

    性能重大提高（Significant general performance improvements）

    改進監控和控制（Improved monitoring and control）

PG9.6

並行執行順序掃描、鏈接和匯聚操做（Parallel execution of sequential scans, joins, and aggregates）

    在VACCUM操做時，避免沒必要要的頁掃描（Avoid scanning pages unnecessarily during vacuum freeze operations）

    顯著的性能提高，特別是在多CPU插槽服務器的可擴展方面（Substantial performance improvements, especially in the area of scalability on multi-CPU-socket servers）

    全文搜索能夠搜索短語，即多個相鄰的單詞（Full-text search can now search for phrases (multiple adjacent words)）

除此以外，改進方面包括：修復幾個bug，PG-XL特有的加強功能。針對PG代碼的推動，重寫了分佈式planner代碼。
