An email will gather together information from each of the computers it passes through on the way to the recipient and this is stored in the email header. In Outlook, right click on the email message and select Options.html

This example illustrates how a message is sent from a single user to a recipienet such as yourself. The message passes threw many servers from one end to the other end before you would receive the message. Here at Baruch College the message passes through Baruch FireWall, Anti-Virus Servers, and ProofPoint system.ide
