HOW TO: Convert a logical data model into a base object in MDM?

In Master Data Management (MDM), there is an option to import from the Common Warehouse Metamodel (CWM) file. The CWM file is the industry opted standard which defines the metadata model for relational and non-relational databases in a data warehouse environment. CWM file is imported as a physical table in MDM.

 

To create the base object in MDM, it is required to first convert the SQL definition into the CWM file format, and then import it in MDM using the  Import from CWM file option.
